Essential Job Functions:



  • Supervise team that delivers effective results in the areas of quality, guest service, food cost, labor cost, safety, security, cleanliness and product preparation.

  • Manage the execution of all Company policies, procedures, programs and systems.

  • Ensure objectives are reached in all areas while following all Company guidelines.

  • Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local laws and ethical business practices.

  • Provides leadership, direction, training and development to the restaurant team.

  • Managing the store's financial performance

  • Make recommendations to enhance restaurant operations.

  • Responsible for promoting Del Taco's vision by coordinating and implementing marketing activities in the local community to enhance community relations.







Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:



  • Managerial experience in quick service restaurant environment with demonstrated ability to ensure guest satisfaction and ability to train and maintain an on-going guest service delivery.

  • Develop and implement processes to optimize restaurant sales and cash flow.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze financial information, costs, inventory and sales to achieve maximum profit potential. Ability to articulate variances.

  • Knowledge of methods of establishing appropriate internal controls to ensure staff integrity and quality assurance.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks with effective follow-through.

  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead staff to achieve organizational goals.

  • Ability to perform basic business math skills. Cash handling skills desired.

  • Excellent organizational skills for keeping detailed records, reports and logs.

  • Demonstrated ability to visually assess and evaluate safety hazards in the work place as mandated by company safety procedures. Ensure OSHA, local health and safety codes and company safety policies are met/followed.

Experience, Education & Training:



  • High School graduate or equivalent industry related experience.

  • 2-5 years experience in a Quick Service restaurant environment or a guest service industry in a supervisory or management role or an equivalent combination is preferred.

  • Serv Safe certification preferred.

Ability to stand and walk for approximately 95-100% of shift including ability to bend, reach, and lift and carry a max of 50 pounds.

Description
JOB SCOPE/SUMMARY:
Direct the operation & maintenance of assigned restaurant in accordance with established policies & procedures. Responsible for the development & implementation of tactics to optimize restaurant sales & cash flow while ensuring adherence to quality, cleanliness, & guest service standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Ensure adherence to quality, cleanliness, and customer service standards consistent with guidelines.

Coordinate front and back of the unit on assigned shift.

Coordinate and assign duties and supervise personnel.

Ensure Occupational Safety & Health Act (OSHA), local health and safety codes, and company safety policies are met.

Actively listens and communicates timely, clearly, and accurately with management team and team members.

Unloading, stocking and maintaining required inventory levels.

Ensure all company policies are met on assigned shift.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

1 - 3 years experience in Quick Serve Restaurant (QSR) industry/full service concept

ServSafe certified preferred.

Able to speak, read, and write effectively in English.

Able to perform basic business math skills.

Able to stand and walk for approximately 95% - 100% of shift.

Able to lift and carry a maximum of 50 pounds.

Able to work flexible hours.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Implementation of tactics to optimize restaurant sales and cash flow while ensuring adherence to quality, cleanliness, and customer service standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Responsible for restaurant’s performance levels in job positions assigned by upper management. Team members are to maintain their stations in a clean and orderly manner. Team members will receive additional assignments to maintain unit in accordance with Del Taco cleanliness standards. Each position has different duties and responsibilities:

Preparation
The PREP person is responsible for the preparation of certain food items. In non 24 hour restaurants the prep person must also set up the various work stations and serve early morning customers.

Walk-up Order Taker
The DINING ROOM ORDER TAKER is responsible for greeting our customers and taking their orders accurately in a friendly manner. This position requires knowledge of the menu items and their ingredients as well as familiarity with the step-by-step procedure for friendly and efficient customer service. In addition, the order taker will be responsible for accurate cash control.

Push-Walk
The DINING ROOM DELIVERY PERSON is responsible for delivering orders to customer.
To insure that each order is complete and prepared properly, the delivery person will have to become familiar with all the menu items and their packaging.

Drive-Thru Ordertaker
The DRIVE-THRU ORDERTAKER is responsible for taking the orders from each drive-thru customer in a friendly and efficient manner. This position requires knowledge of the menu items and their ingredients as well as familiarity with the step-by-step procedure for friendly and efficient customer service. In addition, the drive-thru order taker will need to know how to operate the menu board speaker system.

Push-Drive
The PUSH-DRIVE DELIVERY PERSON is responsible for the fast efficient flow of the drive-thru window operation. At the drive-thru window, the expediter will be responsible for cash control, customer service, and insuring that customers get the correct orders.

Dining Room Host/Hostess
The DINING ROOM HOST/HOSTESS is responsible for cleanliness in the dining room and service to our customers.

Assembly
The ASSEMBLY PERSON is responsible for insuring that each customer receives exactly what was ordered, both promptly and courteously. Orders must be directed to both the dining room and drive-thru areas in an orderly and organized manner. All orders must be verified for correctness and completion. The assembly person must have the awareness to recognize if any particular station is about to fall behind and have the ability to render assistance at that station without hindering his/her remaining responsibilities.

Drinks
The DRINK PERSON is responsible for filling all drink and dessert orders. In addition, the beverage person must be familiar with customer service procedures.

Taco Bar
The TACO BAR PERSON is responsible for the preparation of each Mexican food item quickly and according to recipes. The taco bar person is also responsible for maintaining the quality standards of the products he/she prepares.

Grill
The GRILL PERSON is responsible for the preparation of food items from the American kitchen. The grill person is also responsible for maintaining the quality standards of the products he/she prepares.


JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Minimum 16 years of age or older.

Ability to be self-reliant. Execute assigned duties and responsibility from upper management staff.

Must adhere to Del Taco uniform and grooming policy.

Excellent oral communication skills to effectively communicate with management, corporate staff, restaurant employees, and customers.

Ability to travel to assigned restaurant location and operate respective work stations. Work requires standing and walking 80-90% of the time.

Education: High school diploma preferred

Interactions with vendors and corporate office.
